I’m excited to share that I have the incredible privilege of serving on a mission team going to Liberia, West Africa this fall. From November 3–10, 2025, I will be part of a group sent out by Rhea’s Mill Baptist Church to assist with outreach in a growing community between Kpakpakon and Foko Town—an area of about 45,000 people and only four small churches.
Our team was invited by Pastor David B. Jallah, who leads Victorious Grace Church Ministries in Paynesville City and has recently planted a new church called Victorious Grace Church Ministries Kpakpakon. His heart for this region is big, and we are honored to come alongside him in evangelism, community care, and church planting.
While Liberia is an English-speaking nation with friendly ties to the U.S., spiritual confusion is common. Many people identify as Christians but still follow traditional religious practices, resulting in a version of Christianity that lacks the true Gospel. Our mission is to lovingly bring clarity, hope, and the truth of Christ.
Here’s what our team will be doing:
- Equipping local pastors and leaders in how to share the Gospel and their testimony
- Going house-to-house with local church members to share the Good News
- Distributing clothing and bags of rice as acts of love and care
- Hosting a free eye clinic (led by Greg & Bethanie Harrison) offering exams and glasses
- Referring serious eye cases to a local hospital with hopes of creating future sponsorships for treatments
- Supporting a 3-day community crusade held at a local soccer stadium to reach even more with the Gospel
How You Can Be Involved:
Please Pray:
- For our team as we prepare and go
- For the pastors and churches we’ll serve
- For open hearts in Kpakpakon and Foko Town
- For the logistics and safety of the trip
- For God’s provision for every detail
Please Consider Giving:
We are working toward a goal of $20,000 to cover expenses for:
- Airfare and lodging for our team
- Renting a tent and generator for the eye clinic
- Audio/visual equipment for the crusade
- Shipping clothing and supplies
- Purchasing rice for distribution
Every gift—no matter the amount—makes a difference. If you’d like to give to help support this trip, please scan the QR code to donate directly to our trip through Rhea’s Mill.
